Our solid woods come from sustainably managed forests in the USA and is part of the sustainable forestry initiative growing 2.29 trees for everyone that is harvested.

Solid Wood is the same finish back and front, it cuts fine details well with a smooth, darkened edge. It can be fragile when cutting intricate shapes (like a snowflake) as the woodgrain can make it fragile. All wooden shapes will be cut with a horisontal grain.

Our standard protective paper is applied front and back to protect the wood while cutting. It is best removed asap when you receive your shapes as it tends to stick more in time.
